UNC Chapel Hill Hooker Fields Improvements

Hooker Fields is an existing +/- 3.8-acre synthetic turf field facility used by intramurals for sports such as flag football, soccer, softball, and kickball. In addition, sport clubs use Hooker Fields to play sports such as ultimate Frisbee, soccer, and rugby. McAdams was recently selected by UNC-CH to provide field survey, SUE, engineering design, and construction administration services for a significant renovation of the fields. The goal of this project is to reconfigure the area to provide regulation-size playing fields and a safe playing area for the Campus Recreation program. In addition, existing field lighting will be replaced with a new high-efficiency lighting system.
