Von Beougher of G&A | McAdams Appointed to the Double Oak Town Council

Von Beougher, principal of the Dallas-Fort Worth region of G&A | McAdams, a professional engineering and design firm, was recently appointed to the Town Council of Double Oak, a small town located between Flower Mound and Highland Village, Texas.

The Town of Double Oak, established in 1974, is a General Law City represented by a mayor and a town council of five members with a population of approximately 3,100 residents.

“When a vacancy came available on the Double Oak Town Council, I decided to throw my hat into the ring if the council felt I could be of service,” says Von of his recent appointment. “Having served on the Double Oak Board of Adjustment for nine years, I am honored to have been appointed to fill the unexpired vacant seat on the Town Council.”

Von Beougher has been with G&A | McAdams (formerly G&A) since 1990. As principal with G&A | McAdams, Von promotes the company and its employees both internally and in the public arenas. He has been a long-standing community supporter having recently served on the Double Oak Board of Adjustments for nearly a decade, the Texas Motor Speedway Children’s Charities Board and Texas Society of Professional Engineers (Denton Chapter), as well as the PediPlace Board of Directors and Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce Regional Advantage Leadership Program Board. In 2014, Von was named Lewisville Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year and currently serves as a member of the Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce.
