Eric P. Wilhite, AICP, Joins McAdams
Eric P. Wilhite, AICP, has joined McAdams as Director of Civic Spaces for Dallas-Fort Worth!
Bringing nearly three decades of experience to the role, Eric will oversee all municipal clients and projects, including parks and trails; urban design; civic buildings; and general public improvement initiatives. Additionally, he will manage a team of design professionals to ensure comprehensive due diligence, innovative design and flawless execution for all civic projects.
“I’m thrilled to step into this new leadership role at McAdams to assist in the growth of the firms’ public sector,” said Eric. “As a civic planner, everything I do is rooted in relationships and mentorship, and I could tell right off the bat that McAdams shares this approach. Culture truly sets the tone, and as I build out McAdams’ civic spaces team and client portfolio, it’s also what will give us a leg up.”
Prior to joining McAdams, Eric has held a variety of positions, including senior civil project management and land planning at several engineering firms and municipalities in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, overseeing both public and private sector projects in Dallas, Irving, Plano, Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Arlington, Euless and more. He received a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Kansas State University and is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
“Bringing on a leader of Eric’s caliber opens so many doors for McAdams,” said Bobby Dollak, McAdams’ regional vice president. “By tapping into his decades of civic experience and local relationship-building, we’re going to be able to serve our communities and clients better than ever before.”
