Joe Samberg

Joe serves as the Director of Geomatics. With a background in surveying, mapping, LiDAR, GIS, photogrammetry, and reality capture, Joe has built a career at the intersection of traditional geomatics and emerging technology. He has led survey delivery for major transportation, municipal, and infrastructure projects throughout Florida while helping organizations adopt innovative solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making. Today, Joe focuses on advancing the geospatial profession through the integration of UAVs, mobile mapping, digital twins, BIM, reality capture, and data-driven workflows. He believes the future of surveying is not just measuring the world around us but creating intelligent spatial data that helps shape it.
