Our Interview Process
Interviews at McAdams are conversations that provide an opportunity for us to learn about your experience and for you to explore how your goals align with our work, culture, and growth plans.
Take time to review the job description and explore McAdams’ services, markets, and values. Understanding what we do will help you connect your experience to the role and ask meaningful questions.
Be ready to share real examples from your work, projects you’ve led, challenges you’ve navigated, and outcomes you’re proud of. Specific stories help us better understand your skills and approach.
We’re not looking for rehearsed answers or perfection. We value authenticity, curiosity, and how you think. Showing up as yourself helps ensure mutual alignment.
Interviews work best when there’s dialogue. Ask questions about the role, team structure, projects, growth opportunities, or our culture. Curiosity is encouraged.
If your interview is virtual, test your technology ahead of time and choose a quiet, comfortable space. Don’t stress over small technical hiccups, we know they happen.
The Talent Acquisition team will coordinate with you and the teams for availability to meet onsite for an office tour and to meet the rest of the team. We will make sure to send the office address, parking instructions and any other information before your arrival.
A brief thank you note is always appreciated, but never required. Most importantly, know that we’ll keep you informed about next steps following your interview.
