Lee Mill Estate, Sanitary Sewer Collection + Pump Station
McAdams provided planning, surveying and engineering services for the development of a 31-acre, 55-unit townhome development. The design and permitting of the sanitary sewer collection system for this development included a 180 gpm aboveground pump station, approximately 2,100 linear feet of a six-inch force main, and 1,800 linear feet of an eight-inch gravity sewer. The pump station included a control panel with starts, alarms, indicators, emergency generator with an automatic transfer switch, area lighting and yard hydrant. The force main extended along Francktown Road to a receiving manhole within the right-of-way. McAdams completed the permitting through Onslow County Water and Sewer Authority (ONWASA) and NCDENR DWQ.
