Caraleigh Park
The McAdams SHARES team is collaborating with the City of Raleigh Parks department to redesign Caraleigh Park. Project success relies on a unified effort among the design team, playground vendor, community members and the Parks department. Key elements of the design focus on creating universal access and engaging play environments with sensory features. The redesign strikes a balance between manufactured and natural play areas, minimizes impact on the mature tree canopy, and provides a variety of spaces for community gathering and socializing fullstop.

Playground Build Day
To celebrate the Caraleigh Park redesign, McAdams SHARES joined the City of Raleigh Parks Department and community members for a hands-on build event. Volunteers worked together to install new play structures and secure panels, bringing the design to life in a tangible way. This collaborative effort reflects the heart of the project; creating an inclusive, engaging space through partnership and shared commitment.
