Crabtree North

Over the course of three years, with two controversial Conditional Use rezoning cases, McAdams assisted EYC Companies in development of a comprehensive master plan for approximately 20 acres of dense urban mixed-use development on property adjacent to Crabtree Valley Mall. McAdams and Ramey Kemp Associates worked diligently with Raleigh Planning & RDOT, as well as, NCDOT to develop a street grid to serve the development while also alleviating some of the existing traffic congestion issues at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Lead Mine Road. McAdams assisted EYC Companies throughout the rezoning process on both cases by proactively engaging with all of the stakeholders near the site, including residential communities, the adjacent office park, Crabtree Valley Mall, elected officials and City of Raleigh staff to understand their concerns and incorporate solutions within the rezoning documents.
