McAdams’ Geomatics team performed a control survey around the project limits and set panels for the initial aerial survey. Initial aerial survey used as the existing conditions and baseline for the reclamation efforts occurring on site. Construction staking crews provided location and grade information for different panels and caps for the area. At the end of the capping process detailed as-built surveys were performed within the fill area and merged with a new aerial survey to produce a new topographic survey highlighting the amount of fill that was imported during this phase. As-built surveys were performed by McAdams’ Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) team.
