Hedgecock Neighborhood Park

McAdams provided design, construction documentation and natural resource consulting services for renovations to the existing 9.4-acre Hedgecock Neighborhood Park. The park improvements include a dog park, site furnishings, Americans with Disabilities Act access paths, enhanced landscape and on-street parking. McAdams collaborated with a dog park committee to identify park features to offer large and small dogs opportunities for play and interaction. The dog park offers both large and small dog open play areas; double gated entrances; watering stations; seating opportunities and a custom gathering node for doggy meet-and-greets. McAdams’ team of flood study specialists evaluated the site for jurisdictional flood hazard zones to avoid impacts and thus required no rise flood study certification.
