Downtown Circulation Study

The City of Brevard and the Land of Sky RPO have hired the McAdams team to study and evaluate three alternative scenarios to improve traffic flow along US 64 / US 276 while ensuring safe, efficient access to downtown Brevard for all travel modes. With downtown Brevard serving as both a key travel corridor and a vibrant commercial district, the study seeks to balance regional mobility with local access and safety. One scenario under consideration is converting the current couplet into a more efficient one-way pair system to reduce delays and conflicts between freight, commuters, and nonmotorized users.
