Gloria Avenue + Fletchers Chapel Road

McAdams contracted with the City of Durham to provide planning, survey, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), preliminary design and permitting services for sanitary sewer improvements at Gloria Avenue and Fletcher’s Chapel Road. At the Gloria Avenue location, McAdams was tasked with developing alternatives and designing the redirection of sanitary sewer away from a narrow corridor between existing homes. At Fletcher’s Chapel Road, McAdams was tasked with developing alternatives and designing the redirection of sanitary sewer to eliminate a problem area for the City in which consistent sewer clogging occurs near the Chunky Pipe Creek floodplain / floodway.
