Greenway + Trail Master Plan

McAdams partnered with Johnston County on this project based on a deep knowledge of the area; commitment to serving communities; and passion to influence the strategic growth of local greenway and trail networks. The Johnston County Greenway and Trail Master Plan is an impactful project that will help close critical gaps in the County’s greenway network, as well as enrich the overall quality of life for residents by providing a means for recreation and connections to nature, neighborhoods, schools, parks and essential services. The planning effort undertakes a rigorous review and analysis of existing conditions; a review of opportunities and constraints; and the development of new network recommendations and cross-sections, resulting in a comprehensive trail master plan.
