Evans & Rosedale is a transformational mixed-use redevelopment located within Fort Worth’s Near Southside district. Spanning multiple city blocks, the project combines multifamily residential buildings, retail and restaurant spaces, structured parking, neighborhood amenities, public gathering spaces and enhanced streetscapes to create a vibrant, walkable urban destination. Designed to activate an underutilized area of the city, the development strengthens connections between housing, retail, open space and the surrounding community.

The project features a diverse mix of residential and commercial uses organized around pedestrian-oriented streets, landscaped courtyards, public open spaces and community amenities. Activated storefronts, outdoor gathering areas, enhanced streetscapes and thoughtfully integrated landscape features help create a dynamic environment that supports both residents and visitors while contributing to the continued revitalization of Fort Worth’s urban core.

McAdams provided civil engineering, water resources, surveying, landscape architecture and construction administration services for the development, supporting the project from entitlement through construction. The team coordinated the replating of multiple urban parcels, prepared drainage and stormwater analyses, guided the project through Fort Worth’s review and entitlement processes, and secured key approvals associated with site development, public infrastructure and building permits. Services included utility and roadway design, grading and drainage improvements, streetscape enhancements, landscape architecture, surveying and ongoing coordination with the owner, architects, City staff and stakeholders throughout the development process.

Project improvements include roadway reconstruction, utility infrastructure design, stormwater management facilities, pedestrian lighting, extensive landscaping, public open spaces and enhanced multimodal connectivity throughout the site. These improvements help create a cohesive and pedestrian-friendly environment that supports long-term investment while reinforcing the character of Fort Worth’s Near Southside district.
