The Hills at Southpoint

The Hills at Southpoint is a community of luxurious single family homes located near one of the most popular malls in the area (The Streets at Southpoint, also a project of McAdams). Many of the homes overlook beautifully wooded conservation and are within close proximity to natural walking trails that easily connect to the American Tobacco Trail. On this project, McAdams provided planning process support, construction drawings, platting, surveys, construction staking and as-builts. The design incorporated preserving two existing ponds and building a greenway trail to connect to the existing American Tobacco Trail. We successfully obtained grading permits and construction drawing approval for the first phase within the scheduled time frame. McAdams worked closely with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) with regard to the road widening while the first phase of the project was under construction gaining entrance approvals.
