NC State University, Jensen Drive

McAdams provided stormwater design and analysis services for the main stormwater system located on the eastern portion of NC State University’s Main Campus that extends from Hillsborough Street to Rocky Branch, just south of Paul Derr Track. McAdams developed a complete storm drainage inventory for this portion of campus. This inventory was prepared in a manner consistent with University standards and was prepared such that it could be easily imported into their existing geographic information systems (GIS) system. An analysis of the system was prepared to evaluate both the existing and future build out performance, and identify potential problem areas where flooding would likely occur. A comprehensive report of our findings was provided to the University along with cost estimates and prioritization for potential capital improvement projects.
