Project
Seminole City Center
The Seminole City Center project transformed the former Seminole Mall at the northeast corner of Park Boulevard North and 113th Street in Seminole, Florida. Spanning nearly 39.5 acres, this redevelopment introduced 352,302 square feet of new construction, including 299,167 square feet for commercial and retail spaces and a 12-screen movie theater covering 53,135 square feet.
AVID / McAdams provided comprehensive planning, engineering, and surveying services for both on-site and off-site improvements. On-site, the team handled master analysis and design for drainage, stormwater management, water distribution, sewer collection, grading, and earthwork. Off-site, the focus was on roadway enhancements along 113th Street North and Park Boulevard, including traffic signal updates, new right-turn lanes, and utility relocations. The scope also included on-site landscaping, tree replacement, and civil support, as well as the preparation of detailed construction drawings for demolition, paving, grading, stormwater, potable water, fire service, and wastewater systems. Permitting efforts involved coordination with the City of Seminole, SWFWMD, Pinellas County, and Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
Additionally, AVID / McAdams oversaw construction observation and certification, and facilitated coordination for major tenant lease plans and development agreements. The goal was to revitalize this property into a vibrant, modern commercial and retail destination.
