Project
The Creamery Redevelopment
Located in Raleigh’s most vibrant dining, living, and nightlife hub, The Creamery is a 37-story residential tower that introduces the first and most significant pedestrian-oriented space in the Glenwood South district. Designed to invite people to gather, engage, and linger, the development elevates the streetscape experience through memorable outdoor spaces that encourage connection and community. These flexible spaces accommodate everything from intimate café conversations to large-scale street festivals, creating a dynamic environment for all. The design prioritizes safe and comfortable interactions between vehicles and pedestrians, fostering a welcoming atmosphere throughout the district.

McAdams collaborated closely with City transportation officials, stormwater engineers, event programmers, and leasing partners to seamlessly integrate multimodal transit solutions with vibrant social experiences and adaptable management strategies.
In addition to restoring the Creamery building, Turnbridge is introducing two new multi-story structures with integrated parking to complete the block. The development will feature office and retail spaces alongside the residential tower.
