High Road Water Line Rehabilitation

This project consisted of a water line replacement / upgrade in the Franklin Hills subdivision, located in western Flower Mound, Texas. Franklin Hills was developed in the 1950’s as a weekend retreat community prior to Flower Mound being incorporated. There were no inspections or design / construction standards, which resulted in many inaccuracies throughout the subdivision; from roads that were never built to roads being built in undocumented locations. These issues, coupled with the lack of monumentation of property corners and extreme elevation changes, made this project challenging. McAdams reconstructed public rights-of-way from the old plat maps and agreed-upon prescriptive occupancies, as well as prepared 22 separate easements across this project for the proposed water lines.
