Project

Lewisville ISD, Lewisville High School, Goldsmith Stadium Renovations

This project was completed in two primary phases. Phase I included replacement of the existing stadium turf and relocation of field events outside the stadium, along with the addition of approximately 40,000 square feet of new buildings surrounding the stadium. The project was delivered on an aggressive schedule to ensure completion prior to football season. McAdams worked closely with FitFields and the construction team to deliver the project on time. As part of this phase, existing field events previously located within the stadium were relocated to a new practice field area outside the stadium.
Phase II was the larger and more complex of the two phases and included construction of seven new ancillary structures and a new press box. The design preserved the existing fieldhouse and bleachers while navigating tight site constraints related to drainage and accessibility. This phase also upgraded the existing storm sewer system to meet current standards and provided new utility services to all existing and proposed buildings. Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) was a critical component of the project, allowing utility conflicts to be identified and resolved prior to construction.
