Municipal Park

Located within walking distance to Clayton’s downtown, Municipal Park is the Town’s central park. McAdams was commissioned by the Town to develop conceptual and construction drawings for what the Town envisioned as a central community gathering space. The park features a central green and amphitheater for events; splash pad; and playground. Materials were selected to mimic those of the downtown streetscape, providing visual cues that the park is closely connected to Main Street. The park hosts annual events, such as the Fourth of July fireworks celebration, and offers rentals for smaller group events. The project was structured as a design-build project to expedite the design and construction process.
