The McAdams landscape approach advances beyond primary native plantings and provides a soil restoration strategy that will increase landscape performance over time by improving carbon sequestration, stormwater infiltration and wildlife habitat creation. Unithers, as the employees call themselves, are immersed in this holistic approach to health, wellness and environmental care through a network of campus pathways threaded through the forest landscape. The pathways access a diverse collection of social spaces and culminate in a dramatic pedestrian bridge that carries employees through the system of stormwater gardens upon their arrival.
