Project

Lewisville ISD, Memorial Elementary School, Stem Academy

McAdams provided full‑service support for the design of a new elementary school campus, including surveying, subsurface utility engineering, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and traffic signal design. The site was located within a jurisdiction that was unable to provide adequate utility service, requiring coordination with Lewisville ISD to support the property disannexation process and rezoning.

Our team designed the campus to improve circulation and safety by separating parent, staff, and bus traffic during morning drop‑off and afternoon pick‑up. The scope included parking lots, fire lanes, playgrounds, hard surface courts, courtyards, landscaping, and all associated utility infrastructure.

Due to the site’s location along a high‑speed roadway, the project also required a median opening, three deceleration lanes, and a new traffic signal to provide safe and controlled access to the campus.
